The Russian servicemen in the Transnistrian region held new exercises to stimulate the counteracting of a terrorist attack. The Transnistrian press wrote that the drill involved about 150 service members. Chisinau hasn’t yet made an official comment, IPN reports.
The previous exercises staged in the region were described as defying and inadmissible by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, while the Reintegration Office said the provoking actions of such a kind undermine the existent peacekeeping mechanisms, are incompatible with the logic of the Transnistrian conflict settlement talks and represent open defiance of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova.
