Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, in his speech at the Munich Security Conference, said that besides the problems related to migrants and terrorism, the situation in Moldova and Ukraine also poses threats to the security of the European Union, IPN reports.

According to the Russian news agency “Ria Novosti”, Dmitry Medvedev stated that the regional conflicts now cause problems to the security of the EU. “I refer to the civil war in Ukraine, the yet unstable Balkans and Moldova, which is on the verge of a national crisis,” he said.

In the same event, Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko replied to the Russian official, saying there is no civil war in Ukraine. It is aggression on the part of the Russian Federation, which seized Crimea, with about 5,000 Russian military men being now on Ukraine’s territory.
