The Russian company “Grand-Express” and the Transnistrian company “Nistru-Express” became partners within an investment project to the value of US$22 million, which envisions the construction of a plant for making railway transport parts and systems in Bender, IPN reports.
According to “Novyi Region” Agency, the contract was signed within the third Investment Forum held in Transnistria on June 6-7.
The plant will manufacture even wheels for installation on axes, components for tanks and freight car trucks. The Russian company invested in building similar plants in a number of states.
The investor entrusted the designing of the plant in Bender to the German company Schleifstein Maschinentechnik. Another German company, Mobex, will deliver and install the necessary equipment. The plant will employ about 80 persons.
A renal dialysis center will also be opened in Bender by this yearend. More than US$2.5 million was invested in this project.
