Following the amendment of the migration legislation, the Federal Migration Service of Russia issued an advisory, warning the foreigners who are banned from entering the Russian Federation that they face up to four years in jail if they will break the ban. The punishment applies also to the persons who changed their name or surname in order to enter Russia, IPN reports.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova warns that from November 2013, the Federal Migration Service of Russia does not issue work permits to foreigners who do not declare the purpose – labor – in the migration cards.

If questions or unclear situations appear, the Moldovans are urged to call the Call Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration on 080090990 (from Moldova) and +373 22 690990 (from abroad).
