The Alliance for European Integration will take a break to confer on the date of the presidential elections, Head of Parliament Marian Lupu announced in the legislature’s first sitting of the spring-summer session on February 16, Info-Prim Neo reports. The agenda of the sitting includes a legislative initiative on the fixing of the date of the presidential elections. This item was added in at the request of the leader of the group of Socialists Igor Dodon. “I know they will argue that the reports of the parliamentary commissions are not yet ready, but it would be logical for this bill to be included in the agenda of the February 16 or February 17 sitting,” said Igor Dodon. Earlier, the leaders of the ruling alliance informed that the date of the presidential elections will be set in the first sitting of the spring-summer session.
