A team of inspectors from Russia’s veterinary watchdog agency Rosselkhoznadzor is visiting Moldova.
Russian experts intend to inspect producers' orchards, as well as their warehouses, to see in what conditions Moldovan fruits are grown, sorted and stored.
Contacted by IPN, Ela Malai, the interim director of the National Agency for Food Safety said that ANSA has prepared a list of about 300 producers willing to export their fruits to Russia.
Ela Malai says that the visit of inspectors delegated by Rosselkhoznadzor ends on August 24, after which the Russian authority will decide which producers can export to the Russian Federation.
