Romania’s Justice Minister visiting Moldova Aug. 25, 26

Romania’s Justice Minister Raluca Alexandra Pruna is on her first official visit to Moldova on August 25 and 26. She is due to meet with various representatives of the justice sector to discuss bilateral cooperation in this field.

The Moldovan Ministry of Justice said in a press release that Raluca Alexandra Pruna, together with Romania’s Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos and other Government representatives, will meet with Prime Minister Pavel Filip and other government officials, Supreme Court judges, civil society members, and representatives of political parties. Also, Raluca Pruna will travel together with fellow Cabinet members to Cimislia district to visit a village kindergarten renovated with Romania’s support.

Raluca Pruna will meet with her Moldovan counterpart Vladimir Cebotari and other MoJ representatives. She then will hold a series of meetings at the Superior Council of Magistracy, Constitutional Court, National Anticorruption Center, General Prosecution Service and Anticorruption Prosecution Service. State Secretary Adrian Baboi Stroe and Justice Ministerial Counselor Adelina Brad will additionally meet with representatives of the Civil Registration Service, the Ministry of the Interior, the Apostille Division and notary associations.
