As from February 14, the Consular Section of the Embassy of Romania in Chisinau each Monday will accept applications for regaining Romanian nationality. The online applications to schedule appointments will be processed by the Consular Section by following the chronological order of the date of the applications within the limits of available places, IPN reports, quoting an announcement of the Embassy.
On Monday, between 8am and 1pm, the applications for regaining Romanian nationality will be accepted. Sessions to take an oath of allegiance will be held on Monday, between 2pm and 4pm, and from Tuesday through Friday, between 8am and 1pm and between 2pm and 4pm.
Notarial documents, civil status documents, passports and visas will be undertaken from Monday through Thursday between 8am and 1pm and between 2pm and 4pm. Visas and civil status documents will be issued from Monday through Thursday between 8am and 1pm. Passports will be issued from Monday through Thursday between 2pm and 4pm.
Access to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Romania is allowed only with a face mask and in the absence of symptoms associated with COVID-19, by maintaining physical distance and presenting the email that confirms the appointment date.
Eight-ten persons will be allowed to enter the waiting hall simultaneously. The applicants are asked not to come to the Consular Section accompanied by minors. The access of relatives and friends is banned.
