Prime Minister Pavel Filip thanked the Ambassador of Romania in Chisinau Marius Lazurca for the dedication and effort made while fulfilling his duties in Moldova during over six years. In the farewell meeting, the Premier appreciated the work done by the Romanian diplomat to stimulate the relations of friendship between the two countries and the assistance provided for supporting Moldova’s European course, IPN reports, quoting the Government’s press office.
“The bilateral political dialogue and the intergovernmental mechanisms aimed at developing the cooperation between our states obtained unprecedented intensity and consistency during your term in office. I express my recognition for the valuable support provided generously by Romanian to the Republic of Moldova, for the support for the development policies and reforms,” stated Pavel Filip
Marius Lazurca called on the Moldovan authorities to continue doing the priority reforms defined in the Association Agreement with the EU. He assured that the Romanian authorities will continue to support the modernization of the Republic of Moldova and creation of optimal living conditions here.
Marius Lazurca was named Ambassador in Chisinau in March 2010. Last yearend, he was awarded the Order of Honor of the Republic of Moldova.
