Romanians fined for violating regime of staying and working in Moldova

A number of Romanian citizens were fined for illegally working in the Republic of Moldova, accused of violating the regime of staying and working. The managers of the employing companies were warned, Info-Prim Neo reports. The police instituted proceedings against two Balti-based companies - one specialized in making insulated wires and cables, electric components for engines and units of transport, and the other in making textiles. The Romanians were fined 600 lei each. The employers had been warned to observe the legislation on the employment of foreigners in Moldova.
