The Iasi Technical University “Gheorghe Asachi” next week will set up admission points to accept applicants for bachelor’s degree studies on a budget-funded place from Moldova. Admission commissions will work in four cities of Moldova, IPN reports.
On July 12 and 13, applications can be submitted to the Theoretical Lyceum “Mihai Eminescu” in Balti municipality and the Romanian-French Theoretical Lyceum “Gheorghe Asachi” in Chisinau. In Cahul, the admission commission will work at the Lyceum “Ion Creanga” on July 13, while in Ungheni at the Theoretical Lyceum “Mihai Eminescu” the same day.
The documents can be submitted between 10am and 3pm. The candidates who want to study at the Technical University “Gheorghe Asachi” of Iasi, but will not manage to file the documents next week can go to the University’s rectorate, block T, room B102 until July 21, from Monday to Friday, between 10am and 3pm. No admission fees are required.
The results will be posted on July 22.
As many as 299 budget-funded places for bachelor’s degree studies are available at the Iasi Technical University “Gheorghe Asachi” for the 2018 – 2019 university year.
On its website, the paper “Buna Dimineata de Iasi” says the Moldovan students will be exempted from paying fees at the Iasi Technical University “Gheorghe Asachi”. The announcement was reportedly made by the University’s rector Dan Cascaval in a conference held to inform the future students about the studies at the given institution.
According to the Ministry of National Education of Romania, the admission process this year will be based on the last year’s methodology for accepting Romanians everywhere to state higher education. Candidates can submit applications electronically, to the email address indicated by the university, by mail to the university’s address, at the education fairs mounted in Moldova and at the university extensions that work in Moldova.
