Romanian Universities Fair held in Chisinau

A group of Moldovans studying in Romania are organizing the Second Fair of Romanian Universities in Chisinau to offer information on admission to those willing to pursue higher education across the Prut. Cristina Railean, one of the organizers, told a news conference that all the young people interested in university studies in Romania are invited to visit the Fair on Saturday and Monday at the Classics Alley in Stefan cel Mare Park. The Fair will present 11 university tows, accommodating three of four universities each. The student organizations of Moldovans studying in Romania promise to assist the applicants not just with choosing an university, but also with integrating into the student community when they are successful in matriculating. Applications should be submitted to the diplomatic missions of Romania in Chisinau, Balti or Cahul until August 1. In 2011 Romanian universities enrolled 2,300 Moldovan students. This year, Romania offers 5,000 university seats for Moldova.
