The first travel, historical and cultural guide of Basarabia has appeared in the collection “Around the World” of the Bucharest-based Vremea XXI Publishing House.
According to its authors, Mircea Cruceanu and Claudiu-Viorel Savulescu, “Republic of Moldova” is more than a guide; it is a small textbook that bring into the light both known and unfamiliar facts.
“The fields and hills of Moldova, its rivers, lakes and waterfalls, art, religious and laic monuments, which did not fail to impress even if they had to face the cruel history, good wines and homely food, is a major attraction not only for those who have ancestors and relatives here, but also for any tourist who wants to visit a beautiful country”, the authors say.
The travel guide “Republic of Moldova” includes cultural and historical information, travel advice, useful addresses, and maps.
Founded in 1990, Vremea is one of the first private publishing houses to have been created after 1989. In 14 years of activity, Vremea won the appreciation of the general public and specialists, by issuing valuable books, in well defined collections.
