The Prime Minister of Romania Viorica Dancila will pay an official visit to Chisinau on February 27. The Romanian official said she will have a meeting with Prime Minister Pavel Filip to discuss the strengthening of cooperation between the Government of Romania and the Government of Moldova.
Viorica Dancila was quoted by Agerpres as saying that in the European Parliament she firmly supported the consolidation of the relations between the two states and, simultaneously, the European course of the Republic of Moldova.
“My first visit, after I go to European institutions, will be to the Republic of Moldova. Thus, on February 27 I will go to Chisinau and will have the first discussion with Mister Prime Minister Filip. We will see how we can strengthen cooperation between the Government of Romania and the Government of Moldova and I’m convinced that this thing will be an important step towards consolidating the relations between the two states,” Viorica Dancila said in the General Assembly of the Association of Romania’s Communes, which involved Moldovan mayors.
The Communication and Protocol Division of the Government of Moldova has told IPN that the program of Premier Dancila’s visit to Chisinau hasn’t been yet agreed.
