The Romanian Film Days in Chisinau will take place during October 7-10. The organizers prepared the broadest program ever – at least eight new films, which is a record, IPN reports.
Four films were made by established filmmakers who were awarded at great festivals, namely: “Malmkrog” by Cristi Puiu, “Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn” by Radu Jude, “Întregalde” by Radu Muntean and “Berliner” by Marian Crișan.
Another four films belong to a new generation of filmmakers of different styles and with different preoccupations, namely: “Undented” by Bogdan Apetri, “Otto the Barbarian” by Ruxandra Ghițescu, “#dogpoopgirl” by Andrei Huțuleac and “Mia Misses Her Revenge” by Bogdan Theodor Olteanu.
The traditional section Focus is devoted to Bessarabian actor Ion Sapdaru, while the section Retro to film director Lucian Bratu.
The Romanian Film Days in Chisinau are held at Odeon Cinema. Entrance, as usual, is free of charge.
The invitees of the seventh edition of the event are filmmakers Marian Crișan, Ruxandra Ghițescu and Andrei Huțuleac and actors Ion Sapdaru, Ovidiu Crișan, Marina Palii and Bogdan Farcaș.
