The stone fence belong to the Romanian Embassy in Chisinau, fallen on May 30, will be re-built within 28 days. Such statements were made by deputy mayor Nistor Grozavu at the City Hall's siting on Monday, June 2, Info-Prim Neo reports. The fallen wall separated the court of the Romanian Embassy from the construction site of 7-story hotel. The wall fell because of land slides, said Nistor Grozavu. The breach was surrounded by a provisory metal fence. Until the fence is re-built, any construction works on the site have been banned. The Constructions State Inspection has not responded as yet, but the municipal services consider it to be “a usual accident”. Chisinau's General Mayor, Dorin Chirtoaca, has warned the municipal structures to pay more attention in the case of the constructions near the diplomatic missions. He said the City Administration shall not allow construction works near embassies without the latter ones' consent.
