Romanian Embassy donates TV set and books to Chisinau boarding school

The Embassy of Romania in Moldova on May 20 donated a TV set and 500 books to children of the Chisinau-based Boarding School No. 3, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Embassy, the books were given by the Department for Romanians Everywhere of the Government of Romania, while the TV set was bought with the proceeds from the sales at the Romanian tent put up within the European Town in Chisinau on May 7, as part of the Europe Day in Moldova. The Romanian Embassy thanks the residents of Chisinau who purchased traditional Romanian products, including forcemeat rolls in cabbage and vine leaves, Rucar cheese, Bacau sausages and “Feteasca Alba” wine, at the tent and helped thus the children of the mentioned boarding school.
