The Consular Section of the Romanian Embassy in Chisinau has announced it is shutting down over fears that a member of its staff may have caught Covid.
“The measure to suspend the activity of the Consular Section is being taken to prevent a possible spread of the virus among applicants for consular services and staff”, it said in a press release.
The entire consular staff will now be tested and the spaces disinfected. The test results are expected to be in Wednesday afternoon.
The services of the Consular Section of the Romanian Embassy will be rescheduled with priority at a later date.
