The Romanian companies that participated in the Moldovan-Romanian interregional economic forum in Balti are interested in expanding their businesses in Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports. Calin Sircuta, project manager at Computer Voice Systems Romania, declared his interest in opening a software development company in Balti. The manager noticed the openness of local and central authorities of Moldova. “We want to open a software development enterprise in Balti. The beneficiaries would be the graduates of the Balti University. We’re still in the research phase. We’re leaving more optimistic than when we came and the forecast is positive”, he said. Ovidiu Nicolae, general director of Primavera Design, announced his intention to open a bureau of design and consultancy in order to share Romania’s experience in this domain. “The list of projects will be adapted to what’s necessary in Moldova. I think we’ll start with Chisinau. In the first stage, we need help to prepare the necessary papers according to Moldovan legislation. I hope the Romanian Embassy will assist us”, said Ovidiu Nicolae. Ion Hutu, assistant manager at the Banat University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, declared that the University was interested in expanding to Moldova. The discussions with the Ministry of Agriculture in Chisinau are already underway, but they need to continue for concrete projects to be realized. “I really liked the presentations about the sphere of food industry and governmental extension services. We should link up and share our experiences”, said Ion Hutu. The Moldovan-Romanian interregional forum took place in Balti, on March 28 and 29, and was organized by Moldova’s North Agency for Regional Development and Romania’s East Agency for Regional Development, under the aegis of the Ministry of Regional Development and Constructions.
