Twinning experts from Romania and France recommend Moldova to amend the legislation on urbanism and territorial development. The experts have come to Chisinau, where, together with specialists of the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction, are examining solutions concerning local territorial planning, in accordance with the successful experiences of the EU, IPN has learned from the Ministry.
Minister of Regional Development and Construction Marcel Raducan said the final goal is to adjust the legal-normative framework on regional development, territorial planning and urbanism and to strengthen the capacities of the main players involved in the process of implementing the regional development policy.
Currently, only 33% of the towns and 1% of the villages have urbanism documents adjusted to the new socioeconomic conditions.
