Maia Sandu said that Moldova learned from Romania’s experience in introducing the dual system in the secondary vocational education. Thus, starting with September 2014, the students of some of the vocational schools will study theory at school, while practice - at companies and will be able to get a job. She added that they already reached an agreement with two foreign capital companies in this respect and talks are also held with other economic entities.

The Moldovan minister said the number of education institutions will be substantially decreased, especially of higher education establishments. Afterward, time will be allotted for removing the shortcomings. The education institutions that will not comply will be liquidated.

Romania will also provide assistance to Moldova in preparing Romanian language trainers based on a project that was worked out and is coordinated in concert.
