Romania will help the Ministry of Justice to implement the reform aimed at instituting private bailiffs in Moldova under a cooperation agreement between the Justice Ministries of the two countries. Such a decision was reached by Moldovan Minister of Justice Alexandru Tanase and his Romanian counterpart Catalin Predoiu, who is in Moldova on a visit as part of a Romanian delegation, Info-Prim Neo reports. The two officials decided to entrust a deputy minister and, respectively, a state secretary with the task of preparing the agreement between the two ministries within 60 days. The agreement will provide for the exchange of knowledge and experience in such areas as law, legislation, legal system, functioning of the courts of law, penitentiary administration, prevention and combating of crimes, including by organizing exchanges of specialists and delegates for examining problems of mutual interest. Alexandru Tanase and Catalin Predoiu decided to hold at least two more meetings in Moldova and Romania during the year. Catalin Predoiu said that the Ministry of Justice and Citizenship Freedoms of Romania will delegate a expert to Moldova's Ministry of Justice to carry out an economic assessment of the reform aimed at instituting private bailiffs. The officials announced that a group of Romanian experts in registration of legal entities will come to Chisinau to share their experience next week. The two ministers also discussed the cooperation relations between the Ministries of Justice of Moldova and Romania. Catalin Predoiu said that they are ready to provide technical assistance in aligning the legislation of Moldova with the European one.
