The Romanian citizens from the Republic of Moldova will be able to participate in the referendum on whether to impeach Romanian president scheduled for May 19 at two polling stations which will open in Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo learned from the Embassy of Romania in Chisinau.
The two stations will open in the premises of the Embassy of Romania, located in Chisinau on Bucuresti Street 66/1 and at the Consulate of Romania – on Vlaicu Parcalab Street 39.
The referendum will take place from 8.00 am till 8.00 pm.
The Romanian citizens from Moldova must produce a valid identification document before voting. The diplomatic mission of Romania in Moldova calls on all the Romanian citizens who do not have valid IDs to request in time the Consulate of Romania to issue the necessary documents in order to have the possibility to vote.
On May 19, the citizens of Romania are called to participate in a referendum to decide whether to impeach President Traian Basescu before the expiry of his term in office.
