The Employers’ Association of Road Transport Operators will mount a demonstration in front of the building of the EU Delegation to Moldova on November 16, at 12 noon. According to the organizers, the flashmob meeting is designed to sensitize the European representatives to the persecution to which carriers are subject by the police and the State Tax Service because the carriers didn’t give up providing occasional transport services on Sundays, IPN reports.
“We are ready to coordinate with the police and the Chisinau City Hall the number of units of transport that will be involved in the flashmob meeting and the way in which these should be parked so as to allow sufficient space for traffic during the event and not to block the building of the EU Delegation,” said the Employers’ Association of Road Transport Operators.
The event will involve about 30 persons, driving bus and trolleybus drivers at steering wheels.
