The road to the Leușeni-Albița border crossing has been unblocked and vehicle traffic has been resumed as usual.
Meanwhile, the Border Police urged motorists to use the crossings at Costești, Sculeni and Leova-Bumbăta, where traffic is currently light.
Protesting farmers blocked the road leading to the Leușeni border crossing several times in the last few days, causing discontent among travelers. Minister of Agriculture Vasile Bolea went to Cahul today to talk with the protesters. A meeting was also slated for Friday at the Ministry, which Prime Minister Dorin Recean is also expected to attend.
