Over 80 million lei will be allocated for the rehabilitation of a local road in Rezina, which will connect six villages of the distrust to the national road Rezina-Orhei-Calarasi and the regional road Soroca-Chisinau. The financing contract was signed by the Centru Regional Development Agency and the Rezina District Council on April 4.
Contacted by IPN, Lilia Turcan, of the press service of the Centru Regional Development Agency, said a tender contest to choose the contractor that will repair the 20 km road will be announced by the end of this month. The rehabilitation works will start by the end of summer.
A sum of 70 million lei will be allocated from the National Regional Development Fund for the purpose. The contribution of the Rezina District Council will total over 11 million lei.
