Road portion damaged near Bravicea

A portion of the international road M14 Brest-Briceni-Chisinau-Tiraspol-Odesa near Bravicea has been closed for repairs after the heat caused the concrete plates covering the road to slide by as much as half a meter sideways, the Ministry of Transport and Roads reported. Repair works are underway in the area with Drumuri-Calarasi handling the repair. It is promised the works will be completed by the end of the day. Earlier the Traffic Police also reported that concrete plates slid due to heat on portions of the Chisinau-Balti road. Increased accident risks due to buckling also exist along the roads Chisinau-Anenii Noi, Chisinau-Hincesti, Chisinau-Leuseni and Chisinau-Stefan Voda.
