Road police will ensure public order during Romanian language celebration

Several squads of the Road Police from Chisinau on the morning of August 31 will assure public order, traffic safety and will make sure no one is parked on the Great National Assembly Square while people lay flowers at the Stefan cel Mare monument.
According to sources from the Road Police of Chisinau, the squads will be stationed at the crossings of Stefan cel Mare Boulevard with Vasile Alecsandri, Mihai Eminescu, Vlaicu Parcalab, Puskin, Banulescu-Bodoni, Tricolorului and Maria Cibotari Streets. Meanwhile, other 2 squads will assure order at the intersection of Banulescu-Bodoni and Columna, Banulescu-Bodoni - Dosoftei and Dosoftei – Tricolorului Streets.
From 10:00, more road officers will be stationed in the proximity of the National Opera House, where cultural and artistic activities will take place, and from 11:00 the same kind of activities will take place near the Central Cemetery from Armeneasca Street.
At the same time, mobile teams of the road police will be deployed in the proximity of traditional activity sites from different cities like Durlesti, Sangera and Cricova, as well as in the communes of Gratiesti and Bacioi.
From 17:00 a mobile police crew will be deployed on Timis Street, at the entrance to the Valea Morilor Park, where at the Summer Theatre a show dedicated to the 17th anniversary of the declaration of the Romanian language as state language will take place.
