Road Police organises special campaign for children

Road Police of Moldova, including the municipality of Chisinau, organises between May 21 and 31 a special campaign addressing children. According to Chisinau Road Security Service Inspector Ion Roscovanu, the special campaign themed “Look out, children” was initiated in order to prevent traffic accidents, vagabondage and beggary among children. According to the same source, over the past two days alone, two schoolchildren were severely injured in road accidents in Chisinau. In the course of the 10-day the campaign, the agents of the Road Police Department under the control of the General Department of the Public Order Police will intensify actions aimed at ensuring road safety and public order in education institutions and surrounding territories, especially during the events dedicated to the last day of school. In addition, the agents of the law enforcement bodies will teach special lessons on the topic “Road education of the young generation”.
