A road that connects the villages Scoreni and Malcoci, which leads to the Chisinau-Leuseni international road, has been put into operation, IPN reports, quoting the Regional Development Agency “Centru”.
The construction works were completed last yearend, but the road wasn’t made available for the purpose of monitoring it in winter so as to be sure that the performed works are of a high quality.
The project was implemented at a cost of 31.1 million lei, which was provided from the National Rural Development Fund, with about 350,000 lei representing the contribution of the partner villages. There was built a local road of 6.2 km that joins villages from two districts - Ialoveni and Straseni.
The local authorities of Scoreni intend to run a direct bus route Scoreni-Chisinau. The Ministry of Transport accepted the initiative so that the residents of the village will soon travel to Chisinau by the new route.
