A bus of the Chisinau Urban Bus Company running on route No. 37 was involved in a road accident on Calea Orheiului St, close to the Chisinau Arena. No one was hurt.

Natalia Stati, press officer of the Chisinau Police Division, has told IPN that the accident was reported at 1:36pm. The traffic police didn’t travel to the scene. The drivers of the units of transport will go to the police station in person to have the circumstances of the accident recorded and the person to blame determined.

It is not known if there were passengers on the bus or not when the collision occurred. It is yet definite that no one needed medical care.

Images of the place of the accident show that the bus was struck frontally, next to the right headlight. The windscreen wasn’t damaged. The car was damaged more seriously, on the left side.
