The Main State Tax Inspectorate offered a merit diploma and a confidence certificate to the limited liability company Ritlabs SRL for voluntary fiscal compliance and keeping of accounting records in accordance with the current regulations. The Tax Inspectorate held such an award ceremony for the first time. Of the 683,927 economic entities registered in Moldova, only 30 met the set requirements.
Contacted by IPN, Ritlabs SR L director Maxim Masiutin said the confidence certificate is a document that confers the title of honest taxpayer. It stimulates the observance of the fiscal legislation and offers such advantages as exemption from tax inspections for a two-year period if the entrepreneur obeys the legal provisions. If the taxpayer commits violations of the fiscal legislation during the period of validity of the confidence certificate, the Main State Tax Inspectorate can annul the document.
The Tax Inspectorate selected the enterprises depending on their contributions, without holding a contest. The confidence certificate is given to taxpayers that gained taxable incomes yearly during the last three years, while the taxes paid by them over the last year are by at least 10% higher than the previous year.
The software making company Ritlabs SRL started work on Moldova’s information technology market in 1998. The first product of Ritlabs SRL was the file manager Dos Navigator. Afterward, the company centered on the production of programs for transferring data through the platforms The Bat, SecureBat, Voyager and BatPost.
