The right to vote was obstructed for many voters, but the probability of early presidential elections is rather low, said invitees to the talk show “Place for dialogue” on Radio Moldova station, IPN reports.

Political analyst Nicolae Chirtoaca said that even if the elections are rerun in a number of settlements, the outcome will not change significantly. “Let’s do some simple calculations. The difference in the votes gained by the two candidates is of almost 70,000. Even if each vote counts, the several hundred votes of the Moldovans from the diaspora who didn’t manage to vote cannot radically change the situation,” stated the analyst.

Constitutional law expert Alexandru Arseni said the right to vote of many people was infringed. “The right to vote is a fundamental right and it was limited in the case of some of the people. The Constitutional Court is the only authority that can pronounce on the issue,” he noted.

Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova Viorel Cibotaru said the presidential elections were rigged and a group of jurists started to collect evidence to prove the electoral fraud in court.
