On the occasion of Russia Day, the Revival Party presented information about the historical, economic and political relations between the Republic of Moldova and Russia in a demonstration mounted in front of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Chisinau, IPN reports.

MP Irina Lozovan, a member of the party, said that most of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova consider the people of Russia are their friends. “Together we fought, together we beat fascism, together we built a wonderful country and developed, together we learned. Our schools, kindergartens, hospitals were built when the Russian people, together with the Moldovan people, formed part of the USSR,” stated the MP.

According to the Revival Party, the Moldovan-Russian ties are old. The people of the two countries share the same traditions and religion. They have closely cooperated in many areas, including the economy, politics, culture, and education.

From Chisinau, the informative banners prepared by the Revival Party will be taken to Balti where they will be presented to the public.
