As of July 1, the standard retirement age for women to get an old-age pension is 60 years, while the full contribution period is 33 years. For men the retirement age remained 63 years, while the contribution period is 34 years, IPN reports.

The National House of Social Insurance said the women who gave birth and educated, up to the age of eight, five and more children can benefit from a three-year reduction in the standard retirement age, to 57 years as from today.

The old-age pension is paid since the retirement conditions are met, if the application and the necessary document were submitted within 90 days of this day. If this time limit is not met, the pension starts to be paid when the last required document is presented. The examination period is 60 days of the documents submission day.

To benefit from an early pension for long career, the women need to confirm a contribution period of 36 years. In the case of men, this period is of 39 years.
