Retired people living in the Transnistrian region will be able to get their monthly pensions early if they have a bank account and submit a request to their branch of the bank. According to the local media, a joint decision in this regard was signed by Sberbank and the Single Social Insurance Fund of the region, IPN reports.
Sberbank representative Alexei Kochetov said that the money will be alloted from the current pension fund, according the pensioners’ monthly requests and transferred to their personal accounts.
He explained that Sberbank branches in the Transnistrian region have enough funds to pay, upon request, pensions in advance and then recover their money from the region’s specialized funds.
Pensioners can also get money on their banking cards, which are issued for free.
