The results of the second stage of enrollment of students in the tenth grade will be made public on Tuesday, August 6. Then, during August 7-9, the admitted students will go to submit their files to the institutions they chose, IPN reports.
At the ordinary meeting of officials of municipal services of Chisinau, the deputy head of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sports Andrei Pavaloi said that the second stage of enrollment of students in the tenth grade took place during August 1-4. The children’s files are examined on Monday by commissions of the educational institutions.
As many as 1,315 applications for admission to the tenth grade were submitted at the second stage.
For admission to the tenth grade, the 2024-2025 school year, 5,246 places in 219 classes were planned. A number of 4,427 places have been occupied by the end of the first stage.
“Regarding the enrollment in the first grade, 10,566 places were planned this year. During the first two stages of enrollment, 8,685 children were admitted. Thus, 893 places remained available,” stated Andrei Pavaloi.
The third stage of registration in the first grade will take place during August 20-30. This time, parents will submit the files in person.
