The progress made by JSC "Termoelectrica" in the Project for Improving the Efficiency of the Centralized Power Supply System has been evaluated positively by a team of World Bank experts.
The country manager for the Republic of Moldova, Anna Akhalkatsi, the country program coordinator for Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine, Anthony Gaeta, the manager for efficient development in Europe and Central Asia, Sugharshan Canagarajah, and the head of the SACET Efficiency Improvement Project, Sandu Ghidirim, formed the World Bank delegation.
During discussions, the general manager of "Termoelectrica", Veaceslav Eni, said that the World Bank's support was a defining factor for the reorganization of the company. This fact has significantly contributed to the development of the system and the quality improvement of the services delivered by the company.
In turn, the World Bank delegation experts expressed their readiness to further support the process of modernizing the enterprise's infrastructure. The project "Improving SACET efficiency" is carried out with the support of the World Bank for improving the quality and safety of the heating services provided by "Termoelectrica". It includes a series of works such as the rehabilitation of the thermal networks, the main pumping stations, the installation of PTIs, the modernization of the production source and others.
