Results of Baccalaureate challenges to be announced next week

The results of the challenges concerning grades on Baccalaureate exams will be made public next week. The lists will be posted at the Baccalaureate centers where the students took the exams on July 6. The additional/rerun session will start on July 11 and will last for a week. Violina Lavric, adviser at the Education Ministry’s Communication and Public Relations Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that students challenged the grades on over 18,000 exam papers of the about 143,000 marked. The number of challenges is practically the same as last year. Most of the students disputed the grades on the Romanian language and literature, geography and math exams. Violina Lavric also said that the additional session will take place at a common Baccalaureate center. According to the Ministry of Education, more than 31,000 students sat the last secondary school exams at 175 Baccalaureate centers this year.
