Restrooms in 11 educational institutions in Chisinau will be renovated

By the end of the year, restrooms in 9 lyceums and 2 kindergartens in Chisinau will be renovated. The project is implemented by the City Hall in partnership with the Association for Needy Families’ and Children’s Assistance, Info-Prim Neo reports. Lilian Carp, head of Mayor’s Cabinet, said that priority will be assigned to institutions where restrooms are placed outside. "Initially, the project was about renovating restrooms in suburbs or in those lyceums, where they are placed outside. Fortunately, we reached an agreement to restore all of them, including the ones inside educational institutions, because they in a very poor state", he stressed. This year, renovation works will begin in the lyceums "Spiru Haret", "Dante Alighieri", "Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky", "Mircea cel Batrin", "Mihail Kogalniceanu", kindergartens no. 175 and no. 26, the Lyceum "Hyperion" in Durlesti, the lyceums in Ghidighici, Gratiesti and "Grigore Vieru" in Bacioi. The project started in 2010 and will end in 2020 and has total budget of €48 million. Yearly, €4.8 million are allotted, 2 of which are for Chisinau. So far, the restroom in Brandusa Foster Care Center in Hancesti has been renovated.
