Residents and visitors of the capital city on Saturday can have their pigmented nevi (moles) tested for free with the help of a dermatoscope and have consultations with dermatologists as part of a national campaign entitled “Be safe in the sun”. The campaign will last throughout the summer season, IPN reports.
In the Center district, the campaign takes place today at Stefan cel Mare si Sfânt Boulevard No. 6, from 10:00 a.m. to o7:00 p.m.
According to the Chisinau City Hall, the campaign aims at the early detection of skin cancer and suspicious skin changes, thus offering the opportunity to have an early diagnosis, with the potential to save lives.
The “Be safe in the sun” campaign is organized by :Farmacia Familiei” pharmacy chain in partnership with the Chisinau City Hall.
