Representative office of Russian Imperial House opened in Tiraspol

A representative office of the Russian Imperial House – the Romanov Dynasty - was inaugurated in Tiraspol on the birthday of Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna Romanova. Alexandru Zakatov, the director of the chancellery of the Imperial House, said the representative office will work under the 'presidential administration' (the administration of the leader of the breakaway republic Igor Smirnov – e.n.) and will be a spiritual and education center that will house exhibitions and lessons, Info-Prim Neo's correspondent in Tiraspol reports. According to guests of the Imperial House, the representative office in Tiraspol will enable the Transnistrian residents to discover their noble roots if they existed. There will be considered the possibility of founding a new province organization in the Transnistrian region. The representative office of the Russian Imperial House in Tiraspol was blessed by Iustinian, archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubasari. A delegation of the Russian Imperial House visited Moldova's Transnistrian region for the first time in 2007. Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna Romanova has been in the region in May this year.
