The residents of a block on 10/2 Independentei St in Chisinau, who lost their apartments located in the mansard roof atop the building in a fire in May, will receive financial aid from the municipality, IPN reports.
The City Hall said in a press release that 1.532 million was allocated from the city's reserve fund to cover the repairs in 62 apartments flooded by the firefighters' intervention.
Another 104,000 lei will go to 23 families who owned the mansard-roof apartments devastated in the fire. The money is meant to cover rent costs for the months of December and January.
