Renovated train will run on Chisinau-Taraclia route

The train that was renovated in Romania last year will run on the Chisinau-Taraclia route starting from January 22. It will have a stop in Ceadar-Lunga, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the press service of IS “Calea Ferata a Moldovei” (“Moldova’s Railways”), the train will run only on even days. Under the schedule, the train will set off from Chisinau at 8.04 and will arrive at destination at 12.36. To Chisinau, the train will go at 12.56 and will arrive at 17.57.
PR official Daniela Juganaru said the prices of tickets vary depending on the comfort class. “A trip from Chisinau to Taraclia will cost 51.4 lei for class I, 31.2 lei for class II, and 21.4 lei for class III. On odd days, the train will run on the Chisinau – Ocnita route, as until now,” she stated.
According to representatives of IS “Calea Ferata din Moldova”, the decision was taken following requests from the residents of the southern districts.
