Renato Usatyi dreams of becoming the favored nation leader and of introducing in Moldova an authoritarian model similar to that used in Belarus. The businessman made such statements in a program on RTR-Moldova TV channel, IPN reports.
“Aleksandr Lukashenko is an example for me and I would like to implement his methods of administration. I want a management system similar to that of Belarus to be instituted in Moldova, which needs a man like Lukashenko,” stated Renato Usatyi.
The fresh politician also said that dictatorship is better than the current anarchy. More prerogatives should be given to the police so that they do away with the traffickers in drugs and rapists. “It’s not normal for the state to spend 1 million lei to keep a rapist in jail for 20 years,” he argued.
Renato Usatyi also said that he will take part in the parliamentary elections in a bloc that will be called “The Bloc of Renato Usatyi”. The bloc’s electoral emblem will contain his name. “My party is known by 30% of the population, while my name is known by over 70% of the people,” stated the businessman.
Renato Usatyi is convinced that he will gain at least 15% of the poll in the November 30 elections. He forecast that the PCRM will win 30% of the vote, while the Party of Socialists 7%. Usatyi said he will form an alliance with the parties that will denounce the Association Agreement with the EU and his goal in politics is to hamper Moldova’s union with Romania.
