One of the scenarios anticipated for January 14 is that attempts will be made to dismiss the head of state, the chairman of the “Our Party” Renato Usatyi said in the talk show “Politics” on TV 7 channel, IPN reports.
“Thursday will be a very difficult day. They will try to employ a number of scenarios. An impeachment procedure is not excluded. Plahotniuc has all the necessary votes. I possess information that there are 68 votes already and during the night they will make effort to attract more MPs,” said the politician.
According to Renato Usatyi, the 14 MPs who left the Party of Communists and the seven Lib-Dems who joined the new parliamentary majority were paid large sums of money. “The first 14 received by US$200,000 and by another €5,000 a month until their term in office expires. The other seven got by US$300,000,” stated the politician.
He noted that on January 14, together with his supporters, he will protest in the center of Chisinau against the nomination of Vlad Plahotniuc for the premiership.
