The leader of the “Our Party” Renato Usatyi said the Party “Dignity and Truth” is the only party with which they could form an alliance if they enter Parliament as a result of early elections. He made the statement in the program “Interpol” on TV7 channel, IPN reports.
“All the other parties, except for the party I head and the party of the Platform “Dignify and Truth”, are controlled by Plahotniuc. I have serious questions to the Party of Socialists because they voted for transferring the National Anticorruption Center back under parliamentary control. Plahotniuc is afraid only of me and of Andrei Nastase. This man controls everything in this country, but does not control us,” said the politician.
Renato Usatyi also said that he supports President Nicolae Timofti in his refusal to designate Vlad Plahotniuc as a candidate for Prime Minister. “If Plahotniuc enters the Government, we will stage mass protests. It’s better for Timofti to remain President than for Plahotniuc to become Premier,” he stated.
