The leader of the “Our Party” Renato Usatyi said he will continue to struggle until the ‘regime of Plahotniuc’ is removed. He made such statements in thaw talk show “Politics” on TV 7 channel, IPN reports.
“I will not tolerate Plahotniuc’s regime. I do not call on the people to oust the power, but we must get rid of the oligarchic government system. The people want to control the power and we will continue to protest,” stated Usatyi.
He noted that because the state institutions were captured by one person, he cannot appropriately fulfill his duties as mayor of Balti municipality. “Owing to Plahotniuc, we do not move on. We make different approaches to the Prosecutor’s Office, but no reaction follows. Even if something is done, they do it formally, for two-three days only,” stated the politician.
Renato Usatyi accused the law enforcement bodies of Chisinau of using force against the protesters who on February 15 demanded that the Petrenko group should be set free. “There were instigators among the police officers. I saw how these hit women. According to my information, at least eight of those who protested are to be arrested. The government bared its teeth,” he said.
