The household users can be disconnected from the natural gas distribution network only after they are informed about this on workdays, between 8.00 and 20.00. This is stipulated in the regulations concerning the supply and utilization of the natural gas that were revised by the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) in accordance with the Law on the Natural Gas, Info-Prim Neo reports. The regulations set terms for issuing notices for connection and reconnection of the natural gas installations, signing and termination of contracts, dealing with situations when the suppliers do not respect the natural gas quality parameters. Thus, the consumers are reconnected to the natural gas network at request, within the shortest time possible, but not later than two workdays of the payment of the reconnection tax. The reviewed regulations stipulate a new method of solving the problems related to the connection of natural gas installations to the network. The connection installations can be designed and fixed by the network operator at request, on the basis of a contract. The cost of the works is determined on the basis of the expenditure estimate of the network operator. The applicant has the right to sign a contract for the execution of the works specified in the connection notice directly with the entrepreneurs that hold authorizations for performing such works. If the applicant considers that the costs indicated in the expenditure estimate are exaggerated, they can dispute it at the ANRE. The applicant’s utilization installation is connected to the natural gas network by the network operator the same day the connection installation is fixed if the applicant presents the copy of the document on the reception of the utilization installation and the receipt confirming that the connection tax was paid.
