The Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office completed the investigation and sent the case of the former directors of the State Information Resource Center “Registru” to be examined by the Buiucani District Court, Info-Prim Neo reports. Vladimir Molojen and Anatolie Gumeniuc are charged with abuse of authority and malfeasance in office, the prosecutors recalled in a press release. The prosecution found that Vladimir Molojen, while serving as director general of Registru, had an interest in increasing the profits of a advertising company, whose founders were his son and wife. In August 2008, Molojen signed a contract with this firm renting billboards. Another Registru director, Anatolie Gumeniuc, is accused of failing to terminate the contract with this firm. The estimated total damage to Registru's budget is 3.7 million lei.
